| Well dear reader while the media, and the more
overly disgruntled Conservatives continue to rehash why the GOP lost and
how excrementally super Barak Obama is, I have decided to recap the
incredibly underwhelming performance the Democrats have turned in before
they have officially taken the reigns. Where to start, where to start... Just because Nancy Pelosi didn't pick Alcee hasting doesn't mean she's smart. It means she is sometimes able to see disaster when it's staring her in the face... Anyway let's start with the Democrats proposed tax cute. Yes you heard me right dear reader, Tax cuts.....Well that's what they call them anyway. Well they involve taxes. Okay THEY'RE NOT TAX CUTES. NO MATTER WHAT THESE LIBERALS TELL YOU THEY ARE NOT TAX CUTS. What are they? Part of the Democrats 6 for '06 (which by the way has been shortened to 5 for '06. More on that later) was to make college tuition affordable. A pressing issue I'm sure. What they want to do is make college tuition tax deductible. I'll give you thirty seconds to figure out the problem here.... That's tight. unless you can afford to actually pay for your Childs tuition you will not benefit from this. Most people need college loans to pay for their Childs tuition so the parent still has to pay back the college loan plus interest... Thank you Democrats..... Then there is the issue of National security. Why is it every time I mention that the liberals collectively shudder. Anyway Robert Novak reported in the Washington Post that The Democrats have decided not to implement the rest of the 9/11 commissions recommendations the first day like they pledged time after time during the campaign. Instead they apparently decided to create a committee that will issue recommendations on this issue. In plain English the Democrats have decided to issue recommendations on the recommendations of the 9/11 commission. Now a few people have publicly stated that the Democrats have no intention of abandoning their pledge to implement these recommendations. Yet no leading Democrat has yet to issue a statement saying so. One would think they would be eager to reassure the public they plan to honor their promises. So it's actually 5 for '06... Thank you again. I feel much safer now. The only thing we know for sure that the left will do is force a bill on embryonic stem cell research. Lord knows they don't want to upset Kate Michaelman. Yes that's right folks they, the Democrats want to spend billions on a theory that can't even be tested in laboratory rats. And all the idiots voted for them because they believe the Democrats will have Michael J Fox doing the Foxtrot in three weeks. You asked for it. You got it. Then of course there is the usual stuff. Nancy Pelosi wanting impeached judges to serve in sensitive positions, Benny Thompson threatening a Cincinnati business with criminal sanctions if it terminates any of its 32,000 employees over the validity of their Social Security numbers Mr. Thompson of Mississippi, the ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee and its expected next chairman, warned the company in a letter Nov. 2 that it could be charged with "illegal activities in violation of state and federal law" if any employees are terminated because they gave incorrect Social Security numbers to be hired.
