| I woke up this morning to
Carl Levin asking Alberto Gonzales questions about classified information.
Yes that's a good idea Carl old boy. Lets tell the Terrorists when, where
and how we are keeping tabs on them. That should make the liberals day. We
need an even playing field. Even in war. Wait a minute, this isn't a war
is it? There's just several hundred thousand Muslim types trying to kill
us on our own soil. What shall we call it then. Conflict?
Misunderstanding? I honestly think most liberals do not understand what we are up against. Either that or they really are anti American. I'm really not sure which. I say this because of the way they approach the wiretapping 'scandal'. Domestic spying, warrantless wiretapping of Americans. Bush trampling on civil liberties, and of course all the Nazi fetishists are likening it to Germany 1938. Until I see Gonzales and Rumsfeld in armbands goostepping past my front gate I won't worry. Here is my question. Everyone has agreed that terrorists are in fact on one end of the conversation. Liberals, Conservatives, all agree. But you never hear the terrorists mentioned. It's always "Bush is spying on Americans" when they know that is not the case. We can debate the constitutionality of the program until the cows come home but why are they so intent on making it look like he is spying solely on the American people? The liberals blind in their hatred for George Bush have missed the fact terrorists are communicating within our country. That is frightening because I doubt they're phoning my Uncle Erik to see how his ferrets are doing. They are plotting attacks inside the US and the Liberals are busy likening Bush to Hitler. There is something like 5000 documented cases of warrantless spying. That does not mean the Bush Administration has spied on 5000 different Americans. It means there have been 5000 separate attempts by terrorists to contact people within the United States. At least pretend that you are worried. One reason I suppose they do not mention the terrorists because it would nullify their argument that Bush is using scare tactics to justify the war on terror. He gets yelled at because he brings up the war on terror so much. Well as long as they are trying to attack us it should be brought to our attention. Especially the Liberals. They are more worried that Bush knows how often they call those phone sex lines than their safety. However they obviously feel safe and deep down approve of Bush's 'Scandalous' spying because they never say "Stop doing it". I guess they want him to protect them and as a show of thanks call him Hitler and then kick him out of office.... I also enjoy how they use polls to back up their assertions that Bush is a spying bastard. It's all about how the question is asked. And in this case none of the liberals will ask the right one because they are afraid of the answer. If you ask this question: Do you support President Bush spying on Americans without a warrant? The answer should and has been a resounding no. However if you ask the right question: Do you support President Bush spying on Americans who are in communication with terrorists without a warrant? Most people will say yes of course. Some of the more extreme liberals will say No! What is this? Nazi Germany? The Terrorists, sorry, Freedom fighters never get any airtime in America. Oh sure they get lots of face time when it comes to how many soldiers have been killed in Iraq but terrorists in general get a pass. They're no longer the enemy. George W Bush is. -Bert |
