| Harry Ried is shaping up to
be the central figure in this years elections, and he isn't even running.
He may hold the power to wipe out their platform. We have already been
advised of their agenda. Actually it isn't an agenda. More of a phrase.

By Ried, Dean and Pelosi. Once again they prove to us that are totally out
of contact with the American people. if they listened they would realize
that when it comes to corruption the people do not differentiate between
the two parties. Thus evidenced by their poll numbers. The left are great
watchers of polls and yet they still did not pick upon that. However the
whole issue may become irrelevant for them if Harry Ried has to step down
as minority leader. What!? Squeaky clean Harry Ried may step down? Why? Is he sick? Nope. He's not sick. He simply took way to much money from Jack Abramoff. And you thought the Abramoff scandal was a republican only problem because Howard Dean said so. Dean said Democrats took no money from Abramoff. He is right. 10% of Democrats didn't. However the other 90% of the party did including Ried. Of course not all money was obtained illegally but their have been rumors that he is being pressured to step down as early as next month. Ouch. That hurts. Within the span of one press conference the Democrats go from champions of ethics to hypocrites. How will they manage damage control? The way they always do. They will step into that widening parallel universe of heir’s. A universe where the voting public doesn't notice such trivial things as scandal plagued politicians stepping down. Unfortunately for them we live in the real world. While they pretend noting happened we will be wondering what else they have besides pointing at Republican corruption. Call us over demanding but we would also like to know what you will do if you regained the majority. It's as obvious. Impeach Bush. It's all they talk about now and I doubt they could contain themselves and work to reform Medicare of social security. Even Iran would hit the back burner. Impeaching president Bush would turn congress into a Rudderless boat because the important issues would take a back seat. The Democrats have already had two pretend impeachment trials. Why not spend the time writing bills to that might make America better? According to them we as a nation are going down the tubes.. My only question is this? On which point are they going to try to impeach Bush? WMD's?, Hurricane Katrina? How about the terrible NSA spy program. A program so terrible so fascist that not one Democrat has demanded that the program cease. If all else fails they can go back to the "Bush stole the election" Isn't that the same election that was decided by a liberal court that Bush won? -Bert |
