| And the
left in general being that you have hijacked the Democratic party. Since
the wiretapping "scandal" isn't going away I want the Left to tell the
truth for once. Let's set aside the constitutional aspects of this
for a moment. Simply tell me why you think Bush was wire tapping.
That's all. Was it because he wants to turn the country into a
dictatorship? Was it because he wants to hear all our dirty little secrets
so he can blackmail us? Or was he actually trying to protect us? The Democrats are talking about a probe into whether or not laws were broken and now the "I" word is again being bandied about. They won't mention whether or not the President was actually attempting to protect us. Of course that is because that would look like they were against national security. So why did the president risk impeachment by by-passing warrants? I have a hard time beleiving Americans would impeach the president for trying to protect them. I've got some idiot who keeps sending comments equating the president to guess who? you guessed it. Hitler. Hitler suspended rights to start a war. Bush By-passed the 4th amendment to prevent war and attacks (even though the 4th amendment does not apply to war). So why did he do it? I was just wondering -Bert |
