SHOULD ISRAEL STRIKE?

With Iran proclaiming that Israel should be "Wiped off the map" I have to ask myself. "Bert, When will Israel attack?" Israel has to be one of the most if not the most threatened country in the world. It is completely surrounded by hostile Islamic nations and has suffered daily attacks from Palestinian "Freedom fighters" for years. Now the Iranian Regime has come out and directly proclaimed the need for eradicating Israel during a conference called "A world without Zionism". Now I am not a Jewish person nor do I play one on television but I think it is very obvious that as long as these Mullahs with the long beards control the middle east then Israel will never be safe. See I believe that the average Muslim and average Jew are more concerned about getting to work on time and whether or not the supermarket will have any more of those nice green beans that were an sale last Tuesday. Nothing more. They read about things in the newspaper but a Zionist free world will not guarantee you those nice green beans.
I personally fee that Israel has shown remarkable restraint. The Israeli military is first class and they are a nuclear country. They could easily flatten any Arab nation without resorting to nuclear arms.
But they haven’t.
No country has the right to deny another country it's right to exist. That includes Israel but they have bent over backwards to appease the Palestinians even though Hamas has vowed to keep fighting. The full might of the Israeli military could change that but they never have. Perhaps it is time they showed some muscle. The social foundation in both Iran and Syria are on the verge of collapse. The people want change and freedom. Some pre emptive air strikes as Tony Blair hinted at may be the push the Iranian and Syrian citizens need.
If anything Iran should be removed from the UN. In a rare move of responsibility the UN denounced the statement. Even France was not amused. Now if the situation was reversed then the UN would be all over Israel and calling for it's expulsion. The situation is one sided and I would not fault Israel if they fought back.
