HILLARY WON'T BE INHERRITING THE PRESIDENCY AFTER ALL

No. She will have to fight for it. She will only have one true opponent. The rest are simply the opening act. Joe Biden will say something idiotic in about three weeks involving black pregnant women with reading disabilities. Or perhaps a disparaging remark about middle aged Indian dentists with hip deformities. Let's face it. He's Americas Prince Phillip without the yachts.

Tom Vilsack is out. Who the hell is Tom Vilsack?

Chris Dodd is running. At least I think he's running. He may be preoccupied with removing his steak knife from Joe Lieberman's Back.

Then there is John Edwards who could defeat Madame Hillary based on his anti war stance. Unfortunately for Edwards, Obama and Hillary's pissing match overshadows his claims to have opposed every way the US has ever fought and three others he saw an television but can't remember the principle players...

For as long as I can remember (considering what I did in college that isn't always a significant time frame) Hillary Clinton possessed all the qualifications the left looks for to be president. 1) She's a woman. 2) She is Married to Bill Clinton. 3) Bill Clinton cheated on her with an intern, half the women in Arkansas, and the entire Nepalese Parliament so she is entitled to the presidency. and 4) She hates George Bush.

The problem no one foresaw was that 2, and 3 are no longer issues. People don't like her and what's more apparently there are people who don't like Bill Clinton. David Geffen the bald, effeminate Hollywood mogul headed a group of former Clinton supporters who decided Barack Obama is the newest fad and should be taken seriously until a an elderly Spanish lesbian spends three minutes in the senate. Suddenly Hillary has work to do.

And she started off on the wrong foot...

David Geffen, as you will remember is the effeminate bald Hollywood mogul said some pretty...accurate things about the Clintons...

"I don't think anybody believes that in the last six years, all of a sudden Bill Clinton has become a different person."

I don't think that another incredibly polarizing figure, no matter how smart she is and no matter how ambitious she is--and God knows, is there anybody more ambitious than Hillary Clinton?--can bring the country together. Obama is inspirational, and he's not from the Bush royal family or the Clinton royal family

"It's not a very big thing to say, "I made a mistake" on the war, and typical of Hillary Clinton that she can't. She's so advised by so many smart advisers who are covering every base . . .

"Marc Rich getting pardoned? An oil-profiteer expatriate who left the country rather than pay taxes or face justice? Yet another time when the Clintons were unwilling to stand for the things that they genuinely believe in. Everybody in politics lies, but they do it with such ease, it's troubling."

There it is. Something many people have wanted to say for years. Mrs. Clinton took a break from the tough business of non binding votes to demand Obama dismiss Geffen as his campaign's finance chair, and return the money. That's a bit difficult to do when Geffen has nothing to do with the Obama campaign. He's just a bald effeminate man who is sick of the Clintons. The Clinton team attempted to drag the Obama camp into a mud slinging competition. A smart move considering Obama is so far squeaky clean. Obama fielded these attempts at dirty politics like a seasoned veteran. He also referred to the Clinton camp as "The Clintons". Hillary is struggling to distance herself from the guy who cheated on her with an intern, half the women in Arkansas, and the entire Nepalese Parliament...

This issue is compounded by her failure to directly acknowledge her vote on the war. John Edward apologized. Of course he is farther left than Sean Penn, and slightly more hygienic. Hillary is a Clinton. Therefore her ego is insured by Lloyds of London. To apologize would be to admit a mistake. She can't admit a mistake and stay married to Bill Clinton you see, so she needs to gloss over the vote. The far left will have none of it.

The Democratic party as a whole is taking chances with their attempts to pull the plug on the war. They, in that parallel universe they inhabit where cartoon characters live believe the slow bleed method will mask their insistence on sabotaging the war. This move should suit Hillary's dance around her war vote.

Here’s the bit...

It doesn't seem that the Democrats will have enough votes to end debate. Even Chuck Hegel. one of Bush's biggest war critics is dubious of their motives. Failure to once again pass a war resolution will make them look even more ineffective. further enraging the perpetually enraged far left. The Moveon.org crowd already stick rusty pins in ecologically friendly Senator Clinton dolls. If a measure to defund the war is not passed in some form the Moveon crowd may resort to fire...

Aside from those Conservatives who either voted for Democrats in 2006 or stayed at home holding their breath as a rebuke of the GOP, the voters are not stupid. Conservatives and Liberals alike scoffed at the non binding resolution. They will not be comfortable with a slow defunding of the war because it puts the troops and our security at risk. Recent polls ignored by the Mainstream media show the majority of Americans not only want to win in Iraq but care about what will happen if we pull out before the war is won.

The Democrats approved of President Bush's new Secretary of defense and then quickly denounced his plan for the troop surge. they had been calling for a new plan in Iraq and when they finally get one they claim it's a failure before it even started.

Why?

Because honorary Saudi Prince Jack Murtha said so. Not only is the military broken but they rape and pillage in fine Viking fashion. He's never been one to embrace self respect.

Neither has Hillary Clinton...
