| Ah yes dear reader. Remove your socks and peer out the misty window.
What do you see? Millions of Conservatives out in the streets doing the "I
told you so dance". News was slow to travel at first. The Lamestream media
has dragged it's feet in reporting on the non indictment of Karl
Rove, and for good reason. There are thousands of sound bytes where they
are heard convicting Rove as early as last October. So I cannot blame them
for ignoring the story in name of damage control although I am curious as
to how Keith Overbite and Chris Mathews will explain this to their three
viewers. The DNC is in usual DNC form. Both Howard Dean, and Shmuck Schumer reiterate their claims Rove is still guilty. So what we have is the investigation is a moot point because no matter what the outcome Rove is guilty. Even if you can prove beyond doubt that Rove was in Nepal when he was supposedly leaking Plames name they would still insist he is guilty. That twit Jason Leopold from the far fruit site Truthout actually posted Rove had been indicted about three weeks ago which set the MSM into full frothing frenzy. oops. Curiously enough he hasn't posted Fitzgerald's decision to not indict. This of course comes on the heels of the death of Zarqawi and the Democrats failure to launch their return to power in California last week. If they couldn't take Duke Cunningham’s seat after his corruption tainted terms they have no hope that there culture of corruption platform will take shape. Speaking of corruption and ethics there is a showdown looming between William Jefferson and the entire House. That should be fun. These loonies don't realize that this will keep his problems on the front page. Supposedly later this week the DNC will rollout it's plan for America. After the banner week the Administration had not to mention the latest rifts in the House will drown it out. Sort of like the way McKinney's misunderstanding overshadowed the Democrats announcement of their plan to keep America safe. Missed it? Most people did. you didn't miss much. Their plan was to beef up security at the ports, take out Bin Laden, and win in Iraq. Basically everything we are already doing. Things have suddenly gone all wrong for them. Well they can still point to Bush's poll numbers. Perhaps that will get them back in power. -Bert |
