Wow this is a good 'un. I
mean I'm jealous. This is stuff of legend. I 'm listening to Air America
(I'm waiting to here its last gasp as it dies a very inconsequential
death) and of course they are bashing the President. Bashing FEMA Bashing
the army etc. The lady on the radio I think Is Randi Rhodes (If I spelt
her name wrong who cares) Anyway this woman is rambling on in a nasally
voice that will make the buttons on your shirt pop off and kill your dog
and she says that the reason the flow of aid to New Orleans is slow is
that...are you ready? The Mayor used to be a Republican and changed his
party to Democratic before his election, and the Government is now
punishing him by deliberately slowing the flow of aid. Great
stuff. If it wasn't such a terrible time in the gulf coast I might
find it funny. Actually I find it rather disgusting. You see this is the
difference between Air America and conservative talk radio. Conservative
talk radio has been reporting on the disaster from the beginning. Air
America has done nothing but invent conspiracy theories, call Bush names
make Bush jokes and bash every effort that has been made to help these
poor people. Now Remember this is the same person (Randi Rhodes) who urged
the poor in New Orleans to loot! THIS WOMAN URGED UNREST IN THIS ALREADY
RAVAGED PLACE. Her network said nothing. How is any of that productive?
It's not and that is why Air America and its thieving management are going
down in flames. Stop me if I'm getting too technical. The
liberal media has done nothing but criticize the relief effort and of
course the democrats could not let this opportunity to gain some political
ground go by. Jack Cafferty of CNN told his one viewer "This is the
government the taxpayers are paying for and it has fallen flat on its
face". Even the persistantly not funny Keith Olberman tried to justify the
Looting telling his three viewers "What would you do?" This why you
lose elections, and this is why you will continue to lose
elections
