THE NATIVES ARE RESTLESS 09/09/2008 Have you dear reader, ever wondered what happens when you kick a drunk baboon in the shin, steal his wallet and call his mother names? No? Well not to worry. The answer is the current state of the American left. if this condition had a name it would be called August 29th. The day Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain's pick for Vice President. There has been a ever increasing bridging between the traditional media and the far left bloggers. By the end of the Republican convention the transformation was complete. The American left has become the American far left. The networks are no different from the Daily KOS kooks who created a conspiracy involving Governor Palin faking her pregnancy. It got do bad that MSNBC had to boot Keith Olberman and Chris Mathews from commentating election programming. When MSNBC realizes they have been hijacked you know the problem is dire. But think about it for a moment. Keith Olberman spends his evenings calling Bush foul names to his three viewers and Mathews admittedly gets horny when Obama speaks. And these two represent a balanced view of the election? That is sort of like having Adolph Hitler and Attila the Hun co-chair the Red Cross... They are just the beginning. Suddenly the newly enshrines Democrat fringe has gone on a rampage. They have disparaged Trac Palin's deployment to Iraq. They have claimed Governor Palin faked her pregnancy to hide her daughters. When these didn't work the decided to attack her for having the baby. Based on the fact that he has down Syndrome. They didn't stop there. She was chastised for having a family, and a career, by women no less. She was called a man, a Nazi, and a Jew hater. And this was all in seven days. Never say liberals are lazy. But why the rabid kerfuffle? Why would women, feminists revolt against someone who supposedly embodies their cause? Someone who is the result of their sacrifices? She has risen quickly in a world dominated by men. SO much so that only one other woman has been nominated for the presidency. She has succeeded where many men have failed and she did it while she kept intact a family of five. She did it on her terms. Well the answer dear reader is rather simple. Anti climactic. She's a Conservative. So what does that say about modern feminism? Well apparently the idea that women are independent thinkers is false since modern feminists groups believe that in order to be a feminist you need to adhere to liberal belief system. Where does that leave Sarah Palin? If she listened to the left she would be barefoot, pregnant and stuck in the 19th century baking cookies... -The New Stereophonic Bert Spivey
