CAN HILLARY RECOVER FROM IOWA?
1/05/2008

Of course she can. She's like a slice of anchovy pizza that repeats on you when you least expect it. However it will be more difficult than previously expected. It became obvious a few weeks back that she would have a difficult time winning in Iowa. When her campaign was instructed to forgo the talk of victory it became apparent that there was definite concern within the Clinton War room.. The biggest surprise may not be Obama's victory but John Edwards poor showing. At 26 percent it is now clear that Obama will mop up all the anti Hillary votes. Going into New Hampshire that will be a major cause of concern for Clinton and her staff. I find it interesting that they are now portraying the Iowa caucus as no big deal yet she spent millions there and attempted to lower expectations by putting a lid on predicting victory. Not only did she fail to win Iowa she failed to hide the panic.

Now we have her being pegged as the "Comeback kid". Comeback from what? She is now on record saying Iowa was no big deal.

So where does she go from here? Negative. And in the extreme. She will have to tear Obama down and in the process she would look less and less human. Something that plagued her in Iowa.

She has already been booed at a DNC rally in New Hampshire that was distinctly in favor of Obama. She has her work cut for her now that she is just another candidate vying for the nomination.
