As many on the right predicted Senator Barack ........
Obama or who ever the Democratic nominee was (except for Dennis "ET Kucinich) would not be surrendering in Iraq the day they were sworn in. Although some claim he has been flip flopping on issues such as public financing, free trade, and that wonderful church of his, I see more of him training for a jump rope competition. He's bouncing all over the place. Especially on Iraq.Iraq version one claims “Obama will immediately begin to remove our troops from Iraq. He will remove one to two combat brigades each month and have all of our combat brigades out of Iraq within 16 months.” Iraq version two which was unveiled earlier this week by an advisor said Obama is not is not “wedded” to a specific timeline. Iraq version three unveiled today says he will “refine” his plan after his trip to Baghdad later this month, and after meeting with military commanders . And finally Iraq version four unveiled later the same day claimed the Senator he still intends to stick to the timeline.

Obama's new position is He'll listen to the military advisors as long as their conclusion is we surrender now. Right now John Kerry is smacking himself with Wesley Clark for not thinking of such a brilliant policy position. unfortunately for him the far left which is in reality the center of the Democratic party will be up in arms and down in legs. Their blogs are all a twitter with Obama's recent vapid moves to the middle. Faith based initiatives to start with. FISA for main course and now Iraq as desert. Oh. Did I mention Welfare reform?
The left will not stand for these moves. There have already been threats to redirect funding. And those cries will only get louder as he slides to the center. he was chosen because of his ultra liberal polices. With the nomination locked up he can now concentrate on the issues his party is deemed weak on. And to do that he has to creep right. Unfortunately for him those issues are the most important issues to the far left. National Security, and religion.
Not surrendering in Iraq will get you hit with bricks. Ariana Huffington with her private jet and strange accent has already thrown the first one and it hit dead on. Senator Obama had better learn to duck if he is to continue his policy reversals.
